On the morning of 4th April, 2019, Anqing Foreign Language School organized representatives of teacher party members, league members and young pioneers to visit the cemetery of revolutionary martyrs to carry out the tomb-sweeping activity of 'Cherishing the memory of our revolutionary martyrs and inheriting the virtue'.
To begin with, in front of the memorial square for revolutionary martyrs, student representatives laid flowers at the monument with the solemn national anthem. Then, all the teachers and students bowed three times to the monument to express their deep condolences to the martyrs. Afterwards, representatives of teacher party members reviewed the oath of admission to the party. Finally, the teachers and students paid tribute to the heroes of different periods and cherished the memory of hundreds of revolutionary martyrs who died a glorious death during the first domestic revolution period, the land revolution period, the Anti-Japanese War period, the liberation war period and the socialism construction period.
To conclude, the tomb-sweeping activities aimed to educate students to remember the history, inherit good traditions, cherish the hard-won happy life, shoulder historical responsibility and mission of the times, possess moral civilization as well as scientific and cultural quality to make arduous efforts and realize the 'Chinese Dream' of the great motherland.
